Carrie Rozella "Rose" (Barron) Hawk, 85 passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 in Scottdale Manor and Rehabilitation Center, Scottdale.
Rose was born January 13, 1936, a daughter of the late Elroy and Isadora Barron. She was married to James Hawk, who passed away January 20, 2021.
Rose was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Rose loved children and babysat for many years, and also acted as a nursery
worker for her church. Rose was proud of her many years of perfect attendance at her home church, First Assembly of God in Scottdale.
She enjoyed baking and made the best homemade bread. She also enjoyed watching professional wrestling. She worshipped at
New Beginnings Church of God of Prophecy in Everson. Rose will be sadly missed by her loving family; her six sons, James (Kim), Lawrence (Cynthia), Wendell (Karen),
Rodney (Sheila), Timothy (Cheryl), and George (Janie), numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Bill Barron (Emily), Daisy Sanders (Chuck), Nellie Barron (Bill), and
Geraldine Gardner (Jim). In additon to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband James whom she was married to for 66 years, her brother Roger Barron, and sister
