Carl Wesley Davis, 57, of Belle Vernon (formerly of Dawson), passed away at 12:47 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. Carl Wesley was born June 16, 1958 in Mt. Pleasant, a son of Shirley Ann (Newell) Davis of Dawson and the late Carl Bauer Davis, who passed away on February 13, 1986.

Carl Wesley was a loving son, brother, uncle, and nephew to his family. He attended day programs at the Allegheny Valley School of Pittsburgh in Wexford and the McCarthy Center in Mt. Pleasant. He enjoyed his time with family, friends and shopping trips along with watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, cartoons, and movies.

Carl Wesley will be sadly missed by his devoted family; his mother, Shirley Ann (Newell) Davis of Dawson and her companion, Richard E. Conn and his family; his sister, Lucy Davis Prinkey and her husband Gary of Dawson and their sons, Josh Prinkey of Harrisburg and Jarad Prinkey of Pittsburgh; his two special aunts, Jeanie Newell DiSanto and her husband Michael of Uniontown and Dorothy "Dot" Davis Coughenour and her husband Elvin of West Newton; and many loving cousins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John "Wes" and Lucy Newell; and his paternal grandparents, Wylie and Katharine Bauer Davis.

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Dr. Marvin Watson and Pastor Vickie Lynch co-officiating. Graveside committal service and interment will follow in Scottdale Cemetery.
