Bernice Elaine (Shupe) Wiltrout, 61, of Scottdale (East Huntingdon Township) passed away at 11:50 a.m., Thursday, May 26, 2022, at her residence.

She was born Oct. 12, 1960, in Mount Pleasant, a daughter of the late Edwin and Evelyn (Brothers) Shupe. She married Kevin P. Wiltrout on May 20, 1989.

Bernice was a devoted wife, mother, and sister. She graduated from Southmoreland High School, Class of 1979, and was employed at CK Composites in Mount Pleasant. Bernice enjoyed driving bus and interacting with the First Student children. She attended the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Connellsville and years ago was associated with the First Assembly of God Church in Scottdale. Bernice was a PA licensed Cosmetologist and took pleasure in doing crafts and tending to her flowers.

Bernice will be sadly missed by her loving family; her husband of 32 years, Kevin P. Wiltrout; her daughter, Bethany Wiltrout; her sister, Jennifer Taxacher and husband Robert of Scottdale; her brother, Edward Shupe and wife Pamela of Charlotte, N.C. and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Aaron D. Shupe (2005).

Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10- 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Matt Goldsberry officiating.

Graveside committal service and interment will be in Mount Olive Cemetery.
