Bernard P. Raygor Jr., 73 of Alverton passed away Friday, January 6, 2023 at his home. Ben was born April 5, 1949 in Mount Pleasant, a son of the late Bernard P. and Bridget (Podgorski) Raygor. He was married to Paulette J. (Weltz) Raygor.

Ben was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was a retired corrections officer employed by S.C.I. In Greensburg. A veteran of the US Marines, he served as a corporal during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Vietnam Defense Service Medal, a Meritorious Mast, and a Commendation for Outstanding Service.

Ben will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife Paulette J. (Weltz)Raygor; his Sons, Thomas (Melissa) Raygor and Patrick (Jessica) Raygor; his Daughters, Holly (Buck) Knepper, Brianna (Ryan) Williams, and Brittni (Michael) George; his Stepson, Roman Goodwin; his Grandchildren, Evan (Morgan) and Kyle Raygor, Hailey, Maddy, and Jameson Raygor, Kayla Zundel, Julie, Natalie, and Nikki Knepper, Andrew and Carson Williams, and Addison, Amelia, and Hunter George; his Great grandchildren, Levi, Maci and Ethan; his brother, Robert Raygor of Scottdale; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was Predeceased by his grandson, Joseph William Knepper. Also surviving are his

Special companions, his dogs, Bella and Cooper.
