Barbara Lee (Christner) Hall, 59 of Dunbar, passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016, in Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown.

Barbara was born Nov. 12, 1957, in Connellsville, a daughter of Laverne (Colbert) Christner of Dawson and the late Ralph Christner.

Barbara was a devoted mother and sister. She previously worked as a waitress and cook at Stefanick's Restaurant in Dunbar and was a personal caregiver to many Tri-Town area residents. She graduated from Frazier High School and enjoyed reading, singing, and cooking.

Barbara will be sadly missed by her loving family: her mother, Laverne (Colbert) Christner; her fiancé, Ray Lawrence; her daughter, Stephanie Christner of Uniontown; her sons, William Hall of Dawson and Leslie Hall and his girlfriend Amanda Henderson of West Leisenring; her step-daughter, Misty Newton of Vanderbilt; her sister, Amy Christner of Dawson; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley "Larry" Christner.

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the Ralph E. Galley Funeral Home, Railroad and Laughlin Streets, Dawson. Family and friends will be received from 2-6 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel, where funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, with Pastor Marvin Watson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of the Ralph E. Galley Funeral Home.
