Anna M. Eannotti, 98, of Greensburg, formerly of Dawson and Scottdale, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016, in Westmoreland Manor, Hempfield Township. Anna was born Nov. 23, 1917, in Greensburg; a daughter of the late Felice and Lorenza (Sorgi) Eannotti. Anna's mother passed away when Anna was one year old and her father, Felice, married Loretta Viola Eannotti. Anna was a loving sister and aunt to her family. She was a longtime and faithful member of the partner parish of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Scottdale. As a homemaker, she liked to bake, cook and care for her younger siblings. Anna enjoyed country music and watching TV. Anna will be sadly missed by her devoted family: her two sisters, Josephine Hood, of Mt. Pleasant, and Lucia "Lucy" Parker, of Scottdale; her brother, Anthony Eannotti, of Dawson; her brother-in-law, Peter Cost, of Greensburg; her nieces, Loretta Galloway and husband, Major, and Karen Parker; her great-nieces, Debra Hernley and husband, Justin, and Angela Kennedy and husband, Gregory; her great-great-nieces, Lucie, Liberty and Lyla Hernley; her great-great-nephew, Elliot Kennedy; and many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Alice Policastro, Genevieve Garofala and Felicia Cost; and two brothers, Frank and Edward Eannotti.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 Spring St., Scottdale (724-887-5300 / www.fergusonfunerals.com / GPS: N40 degrees 06.136, W79 degrees 35.278). Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel, where parting prayers will be recited at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the partner parish of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Scottdale, with the Rev. Andrew Kawecki as celebrant. Graveside committal service and interment will follow in the church cemetery. The Ministry of Consolation will hold a service at 7:45 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
