Andrew Jay Miller, 69, passed away at his home on June 28, 2018.
Born Jan. 25, 1949, in Somerset to Charles J. Miller and Jean L. (Tressler) Miller, he was a graduate of Somerset High School class of 1966 and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on Feb. 23, 1963, and attended both the Connellsville and Somerset Congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Preceded in death by his father, Charles, his mother, Jean L. Orr, and step-father Harry J. Orr, Andy is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jeanne K. (White) Miller of White; his son, Errin Miller and wife Sarah of Blairsville; daughter, Bethany (Miller) White and husband James of Raleigh, N.C.; daughter, Megan Miller and husband Stephen Laskaris of Pittsburgh; and five adoring grandsons. Bryce, Parker, August, Elliot and Enzo.
He is also survived by sister, Marsha (Miller) Carlson, and family (Carl, Joel, and Andrea); and brother, Kevin Miller and wife Laura of Somerset.
Andy was a successful business owner in the Somerset area for 47 years. Andy was a lover of all things chocolate and enjoyed traveling with his family. He will be remembered for his hearty laugh and generous spirit and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision or the Robert B. Ferguson Funeral Home, 105 Spring St., Scottdale ( 724-887-5300 ). Friends will be received at the Somerset Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1102 S. Franklin Ave., Somerset, at noon Saturday, July 7. A short memorial talk will be held at 1 pm.
