Amanda Joyce "Amy" (Kuhns) Hollis, 50, of Scottdale, passed away Monday, Aug. 8, 2016. Amy was born Feb. 3, 1966, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Levi and Mildred (Marks) Kuhns. She married Aaron Edward Hollis Sr., June 2, 1990. Amy was a devoted wife, mother and sister. She was an active and faithful member of Gospel Life Tabernacle Church in Mt. Pleasant for more than 40 years. Amy enjoyed time spent with her family, attending her children's school activities and camping. Amy will be sadly missed by her loving family: her husband of 26 years, Aaron Edward Hollis Sr.; her three children, Aaron Hollis Jr., Brent Hollis and Brittany Hollis; her six sisters, Catherine Kane, Sandy Dunn, Patty Bates, Hattie Graft and husband, Keith, Lil Stillwagon, and Sara Ruff and husband, Richard; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Kuhns; and her loyal pet dog, Shadow.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with Pastor Cheryl Barron officiating. Graveside committal service and interment will follow in Scottdale Cemetery.
