Alice H. Dukich, 85, of Friedens (formerly of Connellsville), passed away at 8:01 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, in Countryside Personal Care Home, Friedens.

Alice was born June 23, 1936, in Elizabeth, a daughter of the late Anzelmo and Mary (Auer) Dukich.

Alice was a devoted aunt and a longtime and faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church in Scottdale, where she taught Sunday School for 50 years. She graduated from McKeesport High School and received her undergraduate degree from California State Teachers College. Alice graduated with a Masters Degree from Duquesne University, prior to her career as a teacher for 22 years at Connellsville Junior High West. She enjoyed her flowers, birds and baking.

Alice will be sadly missed by her loving family; her nephew, Jerry Dukich and wife, Debbie, of Connellsville; her niece, Ruth Brick of Somerset; her great niece and nephews, Ken Dukich and wife, Cortney, Tony Dukich and wife, Laura, Andy Dukich, Sarah Sines and husband, Cody, and Donald Brick; and her greatgreat niece and nephews, Sam Dukich, Jameson Dukich, and Cecelia Dukich.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Andrew Dukich, and his wife, Thelma.

Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, the hour of funeral services with Pastor Matt Goldsberry officiating.

Chapel committal service and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Bullskin Township.
