Alda Francis (Miskinis) Sohonage, 96 a lifelong resident of Dawson, passed away at 3:13 AM Tuesday, October 8, 2019 in Uniontown Health Care & Rehabilitation Center, Uniontown. Alda was born December 23, 1922 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Bailor) Miskinis. She was married to John Joseph Sohonage, who passed away on December 23, 2002. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, preceded in death by seven brothers and five sisters.

Alda was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a graduate of Dunbar High School, Class of 1941 and a member of the Phillip G. Cochran Memorial United Methodist Church in Dawson. She was also a member of the SPCA "Mom will miss her cats!"

Alda leaves to cherish her memory, her loving children: her daughter, Michele A. Dickman and her husband Douglas of Connellsville and their son, Jonah Dickman and his wife Jody of Vanderbilt; and her son, Michael J. Sohonage of Dawson and his daughters, Autumn R. Koskovshy and her son, Sebastian L. Sohonage and his wife Raven and their children, Tarren and Gunner.

Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the RALPH E. GALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 501 RAILROAD STREET, DAWSON (724-529-2611 / www.fergusonfunerals.com).
