What Information is Needed to Finalize Your Funeral Plan?

While not all inclusive, here are a few typical funeral arrangement issues:

•  Do you have cemetery property?
•  What is your specific burial attire?
•  What jewelry should you wear?
•  Would you like to name your pall bearers?
•  Do you have a preferred hair stylist?
•  Are there specific songs or music selections that you prefer?
•  Do you prefer certain readings or psalms?
•  What are your wishes with regard to flowers?
•  What payment arrangements would be best?

At Ferguson Funeral Home, our experienced funeral directors can aid you in determining a payment plan that meets your budget and your needs.  Will you pay for your funeral through:

•  A monthly payment plan
•  One-time payment in full

You may need to consider payment plans over 3, 4, or 10 years.

Under Pennsylvania law, payments for funeral preplanning cannot be used before the time of the funeral.  This protects parties on both sides to ensure your funds will be available for the purpose intended and not used otherwise.  You should also remember that you or any authorized family member can change the details of your prearranged funeral at a later time.
